TOKOROA SETTLER. Mr. McDonald, a settler at Tokoroa, near the Muraetai road, had an unfortunate experience last week, when his bull rushed at him near the cowshed and knocked him over. Luckily the occurrence was witnessed by his housekeepei-, who promptly let his dog loose. The animal immediately set upon the bull, which was standing over and menacing Mr. McDonald, and drove it off. Beyond a severe shaking and fright Mr. McDonald is none the worse for liis unenviable experience.
