PUTARURU SCHOOL.
PROFICIENCY PASSES. The following scholars attending the Putaruru school gained proficiency certificates at the examination held on Tuesday, the 11th inst.:— Sidney Ashworth, George Berg, Ronald Benton, Margaret Davis, Joyce Geddes, Mary Halse, John Howland, Harry Hunt, Terence Leggatt, Zoe Littlehales, Ita Lopdell, Jean Lopdell, Vera Miller, Zena Miller, Muriel Nixon, Richard Reid, Alan Runciman, Carlie Scott, Fred Thompson, Harry Waea. The above list was the total entry, all candidates passing. ATTENDANCES. Good attendance certificates (not more than five absences) were secured by the following scholars:—■ Ita Lopdell, Vera Miller, Carlie Scott, Harry Thompson, Harry Waea, Peggv Aspden, Wallace Barnes, Ronald Hall, Wynn Littlehales, Ray Woodgate, Noel Barnes, Doris Hall, Joyce Hooper, Clarice Woodgate, Jean Martin, 'Even Hall, Zena Miller, Alan Hooper. Ita Lopdell, who comes to school each day 7 from near Taumangi, has earned no fewer than six good attendance certificates.
