, The first shipment of Angora and Chinchilla rabbits to reach New Zealand arrived by the s.s. Turakina. The importers intend breeding these animals on an extensive scale for wool, pelt and stud purposes. Farming these breeds has been a profitable industry in England and America for years, and it is only recently the Government lifted the embargo on their importation into New Zealand.
