SHIPMENTS OF MEAT.
FROM SOUTH AMERICA. The Hew Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom, for the fortnight ended October 11, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay:— 230,766 quarters chilled beef, 1530 quarters frozen beef, 48,653 carcases frozen mutton, 110,856 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as f0110w5:—34,320 quarters frozen beef, 9592 carcases frozen mutton.
