NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

DISTRICT PURCHASES. District purchasers and vendors were well represented at the National Dairy Show and Sale, which opened at Claudelands on Wednesday. Entries were received from 57 breeders, representing all parts of the North Island. Champion butter-fat bulls and imported sires dominated the offering with their descendants, and these brought spirited competition. Prior to the sale the various classes were judged by Mr. A. E. Missen, the cup for the grand championship going to Mr. C. G. C. Dermer, Feilding, with his two-year-old bull, Waipiko Love Lad. Tne following were among district sales:— Bulls.
