SUNNY PARK COMPANY. J Annual Report. A successful season’s operations is I reviewed in the twelfth annual report of the Sunny Park (Te Poi) Dairy Company, which is to be presented at the annual meeting of suppliers. During the year 107 i tons of butter, 426 tons of cheese and lOi tons of whey butter were made. Payments made for the season for butter averaged is 3.454 d, irrespective of grade, and for cheese Is 6d. The balances represent 1.293 d for butter .and 1.06 d for cheese, making the totals Is 4.746 d and Is 7.t)6d. Bonus " payments will be made at the annual % meeting. / The directors made .arrangements some time ago with the> Rural Intermediate Credits Board with the object of facilitating advances for any suppliers who may wish to obtain them. The retiring directors are Messrs. 3. M. Abbott, H. G.’ Mudford and 3. E. Davidson, the two first mentioned of whom offer themselves for re-election. The payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, on the amount of paid-up share capital is recommended. Eltham. The total payment to suppliers for I 1926-27 butterfat was Is 5d per Id | for cheese making and Is 4.9 d per ’.b ■ for butter making. Suppliers had already been paid Is Sad per lb butterfat for cheese making and Is 5d per lb butterfat for butter making, and after estimating unsold produce on a safe basis the balance in appropriation account would enable the final payment of Is 9id for cheese and Is 6d for butter. The whole output of cheese from October 20 had been waxed, and this experiment had rov--1 ed quite satisfactory, a saving of approximately li per cent in shrinkage being effected while the appearance and quality of the cheese had been pronounced satisfactory to buyers. Opunake. Advance payments to suppliers per lb butter-fat on account of cheesemaking have been made as follows: August Is 6d, September Is 7d, October to June (both inclusive) Is 6d.
