WAHAROA NATIVE KILLED.

IN MOTOR MISHAP. Lorry Runs Over Bank. A fatal accident occurred between Te Aroha and Waihou on Saturday night, when Mrs. Whara Whara, wife of Mr. Jack Whara Whara, a Maori living at Waharoa, was killed. A team of Waharoa Maoris, accompanied by their wives and friends, had visited Springdale to play a football match. On their return home the lorry, which was driven by Mr. Walker, ran over the bank and capsized. Mrs. Whara Whara, who was about 30 years of age, was killed, and a number of other Maoris received minor injuries.
