'■ The New Zealand Meat Producers’ I Board advises that the following I prices are being offered for fat stock J for export at June 18, 1928: i Canterbury.—Prime woolly lambs, | 361 b and under 12Id, 371 bto 421 b | 112 d, 431 b and over Hid; second I quality lambs, 11 Id.
Motorists who have toured New Zealand say that one peculiar thing about roads in Auckland province is the bad approaches to bridges. In this province most of the bridges are above or below the road level, and in one case, just north .of the Whakapara, the bridge projects ten inches above the roadway. In the southern districts it is an almost unknown thing to experience a bump when crossing a bridge.
