DAIRY FACTORY RETURNS.

PAYOUTS FOR MAY SUPPLY - Tatua’s Fine Record. Despite materially-higher rates of payout the distributions to Morrinsville district suppliers for May will be lower than for May, 1927. The figures indicate a marked falling off in supply. A feature of the returns is the fine record of the Tatua Company. Together with its payout on the basis of Is 6d per pound of butterfat, a id bonus, amounting to £ISOO, is being paid. This is the fifth bonus paid to the suppliers since January, three being for this season’s supply, and brings the payout over the whole season up to Is 7d per pound. The Norfolk Company is also paying out a id bonus, amounting to £7BO, while a Id bonus on cheese, totalling £1434 10s, will bring the average payout of the Sunny Park Company up to Is 6d for the season. The returns are as follow, those for May, 1927, being given in parentheses:—

Morrinsville. Pounds butterfat 62,510 (74,623.7), payout Is 5d (Is Id), distribution £4645 18s 7d (£4012 0s 7d). . < Tatua (Tatuanui). Pounds butterfat 30,401 (44,820), . payout Is 6d (Is 2d), distribution £2343 (£2614). 1

Norfolk. Pounds milk 331,319 (471,549), test 4.83 (4.62), pounds butterfat 16,020.9 (21,807.3),.pay0ut Is 5d (Is), total distribution £1134 16s 5d (£IO9O 7s). Sunny Park (Te Poi). Cheese. Pounds milk 361,943 (239,919), average test 4,49 (4.41), pounds butterfat 16,285.9 (10,490.8), payout Is 6d (Is 2d), total distribution £1221 9s (£6ll 18s). Butter.—Pounds milk nil (122,515), pounds butterfat nil (5525.3), pounds cream 19,669 (27,462), test 40.23 (41.11), pounds butterfat 7832 (11,038.4), payout Is 4d (Is Id), total distribution £522 (£BBB 9s 7d)
