That Daylight Saving is doomed, we are quietly confident (says Farming First). Southland farmers, who were wobbly last year, are all against it. In fact, farmers throughout the whole country are determined that it shall not be made perennial. As the move was purely a political stunt and .a personal contribution by the House to Mr. Sidey and as this is election i year, the chance of the Bill going I through again appears to be ml. But { it will not do to take things too easy, I ar.d every branch should present a I petition against the innovation. Even ■ in the towns, it is not wanted.
