The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cable from its London Cilice, dated June 8, 1928, advising Smithfield delivered prices averaged for weed ending that date, as follows: N.Z. Wethers and Maidens.—Canterbury quality, selected brands, 561 b and under 7£d, 571 b to 641 b 74d, 651 b to 721 b Gild; other brands, 561 b and under 73d, 571 b to G4lb 7d, 651 b to 721 b 63d. N.Z. ewes, 641 b and under, sgd. N.Z. Lambs.—Canterbury quality, 361 b and under 10)d, 371 b to 421 b lOd, 431 b to 501 b 9)d, seconds 9ld; selected brands, 361 b and under 103 d, 371 b to 421 b 93d; other brands, first quality-, 3Clb and under 10sd, 371 b to 421 b 93d; second quality, SOlb to 321 b average 93d. Argentine Lambs.—First quality-, 361 b and under 83d, 371 b to 421 b Bd. N.Z. Beef.—Ox fores 4d, ox hinds old, cow fores 3id, cow hinds sd. Argentine Chilled Eeef.—Ox fores 4 Id, ox hinds 7id.
