THE COUNTRY PARTY.
MEETING OF LADIES. There was a fair attendance of lady supporters of the County Political Party in the Oddfellows’ Hall last week, when Mrs. Feisst, of Cambridge, gave an address on the aims of the women’s division. The address was a most interesting one and enthusiastically received, and at its conclusion it was unanimously agreed that a local branch should be formed The election • of officers was then proceeded with, and resulted as follows:—President, Mrs. H. W. Baldwin; vice-presidents, Mesdames H. J. W. Scott and C. J. Voyce; hon. secretary, Mrs. P. F. Karl; committee, Mesdames Truss, Bathe, W. J. Baldwin, Morriso-i and Addenbrooke.
It was decided to hold a further meeting at an early date.
