The finals of the inter-club championships for the 1928 season organised by the Waikato East Association resulted as follow: Keane Banner (A grade).—Matamata (I) defeated Arapuni by 14 sets to 5. MacMillan Cup (B grade).—Tirau defeated Matamata by 11 sets to 8. C Grade.—Putaruru defeated Hinuera by 7 sets to 4. WAIKATO BANNER. The Waikato East Sub-association will be represented by the following against Taumarunui at Hamilton : Misses N. Beverley, M. Beverley, Mathieson, Mrs. Dempster, Misses H. Green and J. Stewart; J. T.
