“ Bankrupt must have been at least a cheery optimist,” observed His Honor Mr. Justice Adams of a farmer who applied in the Christchurch Supreme Court for discharge from bankruptcy. Bankrupt had bought a farm, the price being £4500, and had put £75 into it.
