SOUTH AMERICAN MEAT.
SHIPMENTS TO ENGLAND. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 16th February, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay : 279,550 quarters chilled beef, 20,884 quarters frozen beef, 80,198 carcases frozen mutton, 76,641 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows : 96,610 quarters. frozen beef, 10,250 carcases frozen mutton, 1210 carcases frozen lamb.
