Messrs. Dalgety and Company Ltd. report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated the 9th instant:—

Butter.—The market is steady at present prices. New Zealand finest salted 160 s to 1645, Danish 178 s to 180 s, Australian finest unsalted 158 s to -160 s, Australian finest salted 156 s to 160 s, Australian G.A.Q. 148 s to 1525.

Cheese.—The market is steady at present prices. New Zealand white and coloured 92s to 935, Canadian white 100 s to 102 s, Canadian coloured 98s to 100 s, Australian white and coloured 90s to 9is.
