PUTARURU v. WAOTU. The first match of the third round between the above teams resulted in a. hollow victory for Putaruru, by an innings and 13 runs. Only Edwards and Waea could do anything with the home attack. Putaruru started badly, the first few batsmen failing unaccountably.
