FROM SOUTH AMERICA. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended January 5, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay:—2ls,7l3 quarters chilled beef; 8327 quarters frozen beef; 137,000 carcases frozen mutton; 151,490 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as f0110w5:—126,290 quarters frozen beef; 20,671 carcases frozen mutton. To West Indies:—l3oo carcases frozen lamb.
