Dairy Co., Ltd. (Taranaki) . state that final realisation on stocks unsold at last balance enabled the directors to bring the payment for the season 1924-25 to Is 7id per pound butter-fat. This season’s produce (1925-26) was sold at 9id per pound f.0.b., and when all stocks are shipped there* will be sufficient at credit of appropriation account to bring the final payment for this season to Is 9 i(1 per pound butter-fat. j The Awatuna Co-op. Dairy Co.’s whole output of cheese for the season was sold at 9ld per lb f.o.b. The average advance to suppliers was Is 7id per lb butter-fat. After allowance for depreciation and the placing of £2IOO to reserve account, the balance for distribution is £1460 7s, or , id per lb butter-fat, making the total ' cash pay-out for the season Is 8d per lb butter-fat. The thirty-fourth annual report of the directors of the Eltham Co-op. Dairy Factory Co., says that while the very favourable expectations as to. prices which seemed warranted early in the year have not been full realised it must be admitted that the average advance of Is 6d per lb butter-fat for the season is satisfactory as compared with other seasons. Stocks of cheese unsold have been taken into account at 86s, upon which basis of realisation a further payment of approximately Id per lb will be available for distribution.
