STOYES IN SCHOOLS. At Morrinsvillo and Matamata. Correspondence deaMn.e; with the installation of electric stoves in manual training- schools was read at Thursday’s meeting- of the Thames Valley j Eler.tric Power Board. I The Auckland Education Board I wrote stating that an electric stove had been installed in .the Paeroa /Manual School, where the cost was 7d per hour, and asked if special rates could be made for further installations. The manager reported having replied that the ordinary charges would obtain. The Education Board, in a further letter, asked the Power Board to instal e T ec.tric ranges at Matamata, Morrinsville, Thames, Te Aroha and Waihi Manual Schools at a cost of £5 per centre.
