LESS FOR WELL-FED ANIMALS. Speaking to a meeting of farmers at Morrinsville last Thursday, Mr. L. Gardiner, representing the North Island Co - operative Pig Marketing Association, stated that the difference in the live and dead weights of a baconer was approximately 27a per aent., while for a porker the difference was 33a per cent. A well-fed pig did not shrink as much as an illfed animal.
