WAIKATO MARKET REPORT. 1 The Farmers’ Auctioneering Co. re* ports under date of April 19:— Beef.—There has been no change in the beef market, prime ox continuing to make from 28s to 30s, prime cow. perhaps a little firmer at 21s to 245. Fat Sheep.—The market is about the same, with a tendency to harden for both wether and ewe mutton, sufficient coming forward to meet requirements. Store Sheep.—A demand exists for. all classes of stores at late rates, ewes in lamb, stcre lambs and wethers being inquired for, but sellers with the latter class in most cases not caring* to take buyers’ offers. Horses.—Few good horses are offering, with a demand for heavy and medium draughts, but aged and light horses are not wanted, in fact are practically unsaleable.
