ANNUAL REPORT. And Balance-sheet. The auditor’s report in connection with the accounts of the Putaruru Public Hall for the past year revealed certain weaknesses in the financial statement, and recommendations were made for the future guidance of the committee. The balance-sheet revealed that the bank overdraft at December 31, 1925, was £286 4s 7cl, and cash in hand £44 12s 3d. Sundry creditors totalled £42 Is lOd, and sundry debtors £4O 17s 6d, while the value of the buildings was set down at £1483 19s 6d, after allowing £29 18s for depreciation. In the income and expenditure account hall rents for the past year totalled £l7B Os 6d, while outgoings amounted to £146 16s 6d, leaving the sum of £3l 4s as excess of income over expenditure. Interest on overdraft amounted to £27 11s 6d, while £33 15s 8d was written off for depreciation, and £3 5s for bad debts.
