MINOR ACCIDENTS.

Last Sunday a couple of minor accidents occurred to workmen employed ac the hydro-electric works at Arapuni. Early in the morning- a man named H. E. Jensen fell a distance of I(3ft from scaffolding in t<he tunnel ro t!‘.e concrete floor and injured his hip. Mr. Jensen, was conveyed to his home in Putaruru and is progressing- satisfactorily. An electrician named Bert Roclfem had a hand severely lacerated during tne afternoon, til. rough a cable slipping through his hands. The Injury was purely a flesh one, and no permanent injury is likely to result.
