: During the past ‘few days work in J connection with the concreting of the 1 diversion tunnel has been proceeding j at high pressure. Over the week-end I work was carried on without inter- j ruption and extra hands have been en- 1 "■aged on shuttering work. . Carpenters r-’-e reported to be very scarce, and 3s an hour with double time fer Sunday work is now being paid.
