POWER BOARD CHAIRMAN.

TO RESIGN SHORTLY. Mi-. F. H. Claxton, chairman of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board, intimated at Tuesday’s meeting of the board that on account of certain business arrangements he would have to sever his connection with the board, possibly at the end of the present financial year. He, however, wished to help the board with the loan proposals and would do all he could in this direction. If circumstances would allow he would continue until the end of his term as chairman. -
