TIRAU.
ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE. The newly-formed Loyal Fateterc Lodge of Oddfellows held an enjoyable social on Friday night. Between 40 and 50 couples were present and most enjoyable music was tunefully supplied by a Matamata orchestra, consisting- of Miss Malldgan (piano), Mrs. W. Ryan (violin), and Mr. M. Bates (cornet). Extras were nicely played by Mesdames Hamlin, Rapson and Stewart, and Misses Eva Brown and Goonan. A feature of the function was the very nice supperdispensed. Bro. G. W. Seton, G.M., carried out the duties of M.C. most efficiently.
