STAFF TENNIS CLUB.

COURT IN PERMANENT VILLAGE A staff tennis club has been formed at Arapuni, membership being limited to the staffs of the contractors, subcontractors and Public Works Department. The following officers have been elected:—Patron, Colonel F. H. Greenhough; president, Mr. A. Dinn:e; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Rabone, F. W. A. Handman, F. D. Martin, R. Sanders, E. M. Finlayson, F. F. Hockly, M.P., T. M. Wilford, M.P., T. G. Kin-sill and F. Furkcrt; committee, men, Messrs. O. N. Hope and F. G. Jefferson; lion, treasurer, Mr. T. Hinton; hon. secretary, Mr. W. S. Brown. A sand court in the peripanent village is available for play.
