THE FRIESIAN BREED.
A PUTARURU ACQUISITION. A six-montlis-old Friesian bull, with exceptionally good butter-Jat backing, was received by Mr. W. Proctor, of Putaruru, on Saturday, from Mr. Boucher, a Kumeu breeder of Friesians. The animal is a greatgrandson of Hilda Minto de Kol, the cow which produced 14031 b of butterfat in 12 months—at that time a world’s record. The bull is line-bred to this famous cow.
