A meeting of ratepayers is beingheld in the Putaruru Hall to-night at 8 p.m., when the County Council loan proposals will be explained. The average results of Friesian tests carried out by the dairy division last season were:—Junior two-year-olds, average milk, 11,435.41 b, average fat, 406.271 b; senior two-year-olds, 14,343.4 and 497.45; junior three-year-olds, 12,572./ and 445.21: senior three-year-olds, 16,253.1 and 583.27; junior four-year-olds, 15,885.1 and 551.06; senior four-vear-olds, 17,516.6 and 504.07; mature cows, 17,878.2 and 616.19; average for all classes, 14,752.3 and 515.62.
