At Matantcita cheese factory suppliers’ meeting on Wednesday, Mr. F. J. Nathan referred at length to the prospects of the pig industry, and he again exhorted farmers to pay more attention to the comfort of the sow and hog. They were, he said, among the moist susceptible to cold and heat, yet they were generally the worst treated. There were, in his opinion, great possibilities for the industry in New Zealand.
