HERD TESTING.
The March figures of the Morrinsville Herd-testing Association show the best herd, one of 31 cows, to have an average yield of butterfat of -37.881 b, the total milk being 8601 b with a 4.4 test. The highest individual yield in the association was 59.041 b of fat, 6151 b of milk, with a 9.6 test. The averages for the worst herd were 16.731 b of butterfat, 4011 b of milk and a. 4.17 test. The lowest individual yield was 1351 b of milk and 4.991 b of butterfat, with a 3.7 test
