STOCK SALES.
A fairly large yarding of cattle was offered by the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company at its sale in the Putaruru yards on Thursday, but business showed the dullness characteristic, of autumn sales. Fat cows sold up to £5 10s, but for other lines in both beef and dairy cattle the demand was not keen and prices were affected accordingly. The implements, etc., offered also sold cheaply.
