COUNTY RANGER’S REPORT. The Matamata county ranger reported on Friday on the number of visits made to the respective ridings in three weeks, as follows:—Waiomou 2, Tapapa and Matamata 3, Putaruru 3, Lichfield, Te Poi, Waharoa, Turanga-o-moana, Puketurua, and Peria one each. The were: To Poi, 4 cattle; Turanga-o-moana, 1 horse; Waharoa, L horse; all of which went to the Matamata pound. Waotu road, 1 horse returned to owner and fee collected; Tirau, 1 bull, afterwards destroyed. UNLICENSED VEHICLES. Cr. Darby reported a case where a- county resident had motor trucks engaged and had not yet taken out a license. The matter was referred to the inspector.
