HARDING’S 1887 ALMANAC, NEW ZEALAND HANDBOOK, AND East Coast Local Guide. THIS work is now so well known as to need no recommendation. Though only in its eighth year of publication, it has outstripped the oldest-established Almanacs in New Zealand, and is now the best-known book of reference in the colony. It contains more than double the reference matter of any similar work published on the East Coast. The volume for 1877 will be the fullest yet issued, containing some important new features, lutest statutory and statistical information, including agricultural statistics for the year, and results of the census of 1886. Complete sheep returns for five counties, with full postal addresses of sheep owners. The Directory has been carefully revised and corrected to date, and contains a mass of information relating to the local governing bodies nowhere else obtainable. The new issue will contain some excellent engravings specially executed for the work. Danish.-Jewish, and Maori calendars as usual.
