POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANKS.

The following are the regulations for the above Bank : 1. Interest at the rate of 4 j per cent, per annum is given on 1.200 and under ; at tin- rate of 4 per cent, tier annum on sums under LftOO; and in trie same pro-j-i-rtinn for any shorter time on every complete 1.1 deposited, provided that no interest he allowed on more than LftOO- * 2. A depositor in any one of the Postoffice Banks inav continue his deposit in any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post-office Bank which is most convenience to him. 4. The strictest secrecy is observed with respect to the Names of the Depositors in Post-office Banks, and the amounts of their diqiosits. ft. Money may ho deposited by or on behalf of minors. Depositors over seven years of age are treated as persons of full age. hut minors under seven years of sge cannot withdraw their deposit* until they have reached the age of seven. ft. Application* to the Chief Offices in each Province on the business of rostoffico Savings Banks, and the replies sent thereto are free from charge or postage.
