The Pahiatua Star. (Published Tuesdays and Fridays.) TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 1886.
With tlii- is.mo of tlmSTAit wo have to announce a change of proprietary, Mr l Ilaggiiii having disponed of his interest j to Mr A. ISlnck, who has conducted the | paper from its start. It is the inten- I lion of the present proprietor to follow ! the lines already laid down, and which | wo lielieve have given general satisfaction ; therefore it is unnecessary to suy anything furthr r in this direction. But we express a hope that settlors have by this time seen the advantages of having a paper of their own to advocate the requirements of the dis- j trict, and admitting this will extend j that litieral support so essential to the success of an undertaking of this nature.
