RIFLE SHOOTING.
The members of the Linkwater Rifle Club met on the Mahakipawa range on Saturday in order to fulfil an engagement with the Canvastown Club. The latter had, however, wired on Friday intimating their inability to to get a team across, but the wire was received too late to prevent the Linkwater men turning up. So the day was filled in by the members shooting for a trophy, which was won by Colin Campbell. Following are the scores
