FIRST WOMAN CARPENTER.

Energetic Bliss of Montclair, N. T., Receives Invitation to Join Master Carpenters’ Association. Miss Louise Christiana Hinclc, sister of Ernest C. Hlnck, a real estate operator of New York city and Montclair, N. J., is the first woman to receive an invitation to become a member of the .Master Carpenters’association of Montclair. Miss Hinck Is an energetic young- woman, and inherited her taste tor real estate from her father. She is wealthy and has constructed a large number of handsome residences, thus beautifying the town. She is also a lawyer, but practices little. Miss Hinck received her preliminary education at Hanover, Germany, and subsequently entered Vassar college, where she received honors. At the New Jersey Business college she was presented wuth a gold medal. At the New York university law school the degree of bachelor of laws was conferred upon her five years ago. A year later the degree of master of laws was conferred, and a short time afterward she was admitted to practice in New York state. She plays golf and tennis, and she is a splendid bicycle rider.
