The Boundary Question.
The following letter has been received by Mr 0. H. Mills, from the Chairman of the Electoral Boundary Commission : Wellington, 26th April, 1890. Sib,—l am requested by the Representation Commissioners to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 10th inst., forwarding a copy of certain resolutions passed at a public meeting held in the Town Hall, Havelock, on the 9th inst., objecting to the proposed boundaries of the Waimea-Picton Electorate, and, in reply, I am to assure you that the Commissioners have most carefully considered the suggestions with every desire to meet the wishes of the meeting, but regret that they can not find a satisfactory way of making any alteration in the Electorate.
