Our old friend Captain Fisk annnuuees his programme for the smart little steamers Torea and Phcenix: to run between Picton and the Grove, and as they are a great convenience to the travelling public on this route we feel certain that they will always be well patronised, D. Burns, saddler and harness maker, announces that he has everything in connection with the trade. R. Kilpatrick, direct importer of saddlery and harness, advertises that he has every article in conn i, ction with the trade, and a large consignment of general saddlery to arrive.
W. Bonowiez is prepared to break in one or two strong cart horses E. G. Walsh, general provision dealer, is prepared to buy butter and eggs in any quantity. D. WeinysH, builder and contractor, has a notification elsewhere.
Tin- best roller fl"ur can be supplied by R. W. Parker in any quantity. A. M'Kenzie has a notification re his livery and bait stables. The establishment kept by John M'AUister in Blenheim compares most favourably with many ol its competitors in larger centres. Twelve hands are constantly employed in the various branches making and finishing work which is a credit to any community. No wonder bis success is assured.
