THE MAGISTRATE AND THE DWARF.

A very unusual incident took place place in the Halesowen Police Court. Application was made to eject a dwa.xf named Myra Higgins, 60 years of age, from property belonging to Mr Moseley, on the ground that she owed four months’ rent, and refused to pay. Mr Gem, the presiding magistrate, said if the dwarf were ejected she would have to go into the workhouse, and rather than she should do that he would pay all arrears and satisfy the property owner. (Loud applause in court.)
