WATER SUPPLY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sm —There is nothing more, necessary for school premises than a good and sufficient water supply. I hear that the Havelock school well is quite dry, and that the solitary tank for the use of a family at the teacher’s residence is empty. The water of the school well has never been first rate notwithstanding the large amount of money expended, in deepening, cementing, &c., from time to time. With the facilities for bringing a never ending supply of water from a beautiful creek, not far distant, I recommend the immediate attention of the authorities to this matter. Children must have water, especially those coming from a distance, and who bring their dinners to school. At present they have 1 to go to -the nearest neighbours for a supply. I am, &c., Water.
