[Own Correspondent.] Auckland, December 9. The Rev. Abram Ridings was taken yesterday, in charge of Detective Twohey, io Kai para, to appear before the local Bench at Pahi, to answer a charge of .ndecent assault on a boy. Mr. Theo. Cooper, jun., has been retained for the defence. At the annual meeting yesterday of the Auckland Industrial Building Society the report showed interest and bonus equal to 11 per cent.

Frank Edward Sewell, on bail, charged with issuing a valueless cheque on the Blenheim Bank, was rearrested yesterday on a fresh charge.
