(Per United Press Association.] Auckland, December 2. At the quarterly meeting of the City North Licensing Committee, an application from the licensed victuallers to extend the hour of closing from 10 to 11 o’clock was refused. The Evening Star opened their new offices yesterday. The building is four-storeys high, and cost £20,000.
