Wellington News. [Own Correspondent.] Wellington, November 25. Sir John Hall arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday, and left for Christchurch by the Waihora yesterday afternoon. In the Appeal Court yesterday two Dunedin cases, Regina v. Flynn, and Regina v. Fowler, were argued. The conviction in the former was quashed and the latter was affirmed. Mr. Blackett, Engineer-in-Ohief, arrived at Marton yesterday to start the working survey of the trunk railway from Marton. The survey at this end will be in charge of Mr. Blackett, junr., and Mr. Ross. At a meeting of manufacturers last night, it was decided to form a Wellington Chamber of Manufacturers.
