[OWN CoBBESI’OSDEKT.J Aockdasd, November 21. A gentleman here wrote to the Premier making suggestions regarding the contemplated introduction of Highland crofters, and received a reply thanking him for his suggestions, which were regarded as well worthy of consideration, and would be forwarded to the Minister for Immigration. Consul Griffin has received an intimation that the American warship Iriquois, now at Sydney, will shortly visit Auckland, and after ten days stay here will proceed to Chilli.
