Wreck of the Golden Isle.

[Own Correspondent.] Wellington, November 17. Henry Chaffey, cook and seaman of the Golden Isle, wrecked at Pallisier Bay on the 7th inst., states that the man at the wheel got ashore by jumping into the back-water. Chaffey followed with another shipmate. The mate then hove a line which Chaffey received. The mate and the captain lashed themselves together and dropped over the bows, and were hauled ashore, the captain being much cut about the face and on the left thigh and groin.
