Fatal Railway Accident.

CHILD KILLED. [Own Correspondent.] Duneein, November 8. A fatal accident occurred yesterday on the express train from Invercargill, at Lovell’s Flat Station. A Mrs. Peck was on the train with her family, and was shifting from one carriage to another. She had a child in her arms and three others with her. As the train started she was on a carriage platform, and the jerk caused her little boy, five years old, to fall between the cars on to the line. He was killed instantaneously. The body was brought to Dunedin in the Guard’s van.
