TELEPHONE SPECIALS.

Waiomatatini Court. [Own Correspondent.] Wellington, November 6. It has transpired that tho sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Waiomatatini, Waiapu, on the 15th of January next. A circumstance which has mainly contributed to the speedy fixing of tho date, was the fact that the Gazette notices of some hundreds of cases including tho now claims, and succession and subdivision claims, have been in type in the Government Printing Office for some time past, much to the inconvenience of the Government Printer, who brought the matter under the notice of the Government, and pointed out that unless the Gazettes were immediately printed the type would have to be distributed. The wires were accordingly pulled and the Chief Judge fixed the date named for the sitting of the Court.
